-HLAVA!!

so we got transferred!! i'm staying here in Jihlava, (you pronounce the J like a Y and the I like ee and the A like a dentist would make you) but yeah my new companion is from Mississippi so that's pretty cool, also yesterday I was made 1st counselor of the branch here in Jihlava, so that's pretty cool, i'm pretty excited to help out more around here!

Its kinda weird though, now that I'm a first counselor it's like a thing now, like I was in the Sunday School class for the youth, and usually we'd just go unnoticed if we were in a class like that. but the teacher was like "and i'd like to welcome Elder Petersen from the branch presidency we're glad to have his presence"

but it's also kinda cool because we'll have some general authorities come through so i'm hoping that i'll get to be in some leadership meetings with them that'd be cool.

other than that though, we had a pretty average week honestly. so i'm sorry If my emails are getting more and more boring like I've been here for 7 months about and so not that i'm in a rut but like nothing really new happens that much. I almost got in a fight hahah this guy, who was probably on something, was trying to convince me he was Jesus so I just agreed with him but he could obviously tell that I didn't believe it. haha it was nuts but yeah nothing happened.

New Area Assignment!!!

Hey yall, sorry i didn't email yesterday, dad stop freaking out like seriously, i bet you like called the mission office, just if i don't email you i'll probably just email you in the next week or later the same week. haha

so some crazy stuff happened we were going out to Stramberk yesterday and we're sitting in the train station and we get a call from president mckonkie and he's just like ok, so an elder went home in the office, so he had to be replaced so my companion got called to Olomouc to take his space, i'm getting moved to Dubina, Ostrava, and my area is getting shut down. so i'll still be in the same city but it's interesting. right now i'm still in my area with another missionary who is training and his companion broke his foot in the mtc so after i go to Brno this weekend i'll head over to Prague to pick up the new kid do visa work. and finally i'll go to my new area. with my 2 new companions. so for this transfer, i will have served in 3 areas with 5 companions.  That's the way we roll here in the czech republic. 

Hopefully though, the new elder that just got sent to Olomouc will like it there, all of you that are there right now really help him with his czech and help him learn to love being a missionary, he really needs it right now, just ask him about his investigators and how his teaching is going and if he's found anyone cool.  just really encourage him and show him that people care for what he's doing and that he makes a difference out here. also bear testimony to him on just the little things of the truth you know, teach with him as much as you can, just make him learn to love it here and welcome him with open arms!  Oh and only speak czech to him, you have no idea how much that helps!

As for the missionary that just left to the office, he might be back and don't be to sad you'll get chances to see him again, i know he left pretty quick but, he's doing great and the office is such a good place for him to be, and just saying i totally called it, last transfer i was like "he's going to the office" look who was right! this guy!

The rest of the week went rather boringly. in comparison at least. so i really got nothing to say umm well yeah, seriously boring. I loved priesthood session of conference, oh and i said i was going to talk about conference this week but i don't have a bunch of time left so, oh and also so next week my p day will be kinda ruined because i have to leave my apartment sunday morning and get back monday evening and so maybe i'll get to email in Prague but if not my email will be late again. or visa work will go fast and we'll get back in time to email. but, regaurdless don't freak out.

Oh we did go to Štramberk yesterday it was really cool. I'll send some pictures next week, i would right now but i'm busy downloading 6000 pictures and videos someone gave me from last transfer. so my camera and external drive are busy haha

It Is Thanksgiving

Hola so sounds like everyone had a great thanksgiving! so did I, we went to the senior couple's house, Elder and Sister Lyon's, and had a big meal, it was really good,
i made rolls... so yeah we got 2 hours for that.
    then since last week was the last week of the transfer and the last week of my companion's mission we got to teach a ton because we were like " hey this is the last time you can see Elder De Angelis before he goes to Italy so yeah we got a ton of lessons and then, the rest of the week was just basically teaching and then me telling Elder De Angelis that this was the last time he was doing stuff and him getting mad at me, haha, just now i said " this is the LAST time you get to email on your mission" haahaha yeah so funny

did anyone do black friday? i decided that's my favorite holiday.

umm humm well that's it i'm done. actually jaynanne and trevor, you're new areas sound cool! also oskar, don't play cod it sucks also windows 8 is what you need to get the computer working. also mom don't let him buy xbox live, correct decision, xbox games are incredibly violent and they have nice graphics (which better convey the violence and it feels truly real(except halo)), oskar you shouldn't play them (except halo(especially not battlefield)) until you are old enough to buy them, at stores you have to show your license to prove you're 18 to buy games, just like you have to show your ID when you go into an R rated movie for the same reason.  dad, you're not that kind of doctor. bryce, how's russian coming? also bryce, andrew and sarah, and trevor and tiffany and jeremy (is that everyone?) how were finals? or are finals? well God speed if you haven't had them.

well now i'm done, oh wait, so i got a new companion today, his name is Elder Hansen, he's from Texas, he's cool, he used to be my zone leader, and he was a branch president for a while in Česko Budějovice (yeah that happens here) anyway he's pretty cool, but his last transfer is this one so that means i will probably stay in this area until may, so that's awesome.  and actually i was thinking if i got to stay here my whole mission, i'd be ok with that.

so yeah, also, fasting works, ask me about this when i get home. also are you guys all reading and praying everyday? that's a commandment you know so if you don't do it it's like you're killing someone...ok not that bad, it's like lying...or stealing.  Anyway, I know if you do read and pray, it will strengthen your testimony and influence you to choose the right.

now, i'm done. so glhf for the rest of the week, also oskar, what time is it could you check IT'S NILLA WAFER TOP HAT TIME!!!
