What a Week

This week was good, probably one of the better weeks of my mission, we went to Prague earlier this week, but in order to get there in time i got to stay in Olomouc, it was fantastic getting to return, but the coolest thing happened, when i was getting off the train at Olomouc, my favorite investigator ever was standing right there on the train platform waiting for her train to go home.  it was so cool, i got to talk to her for like 10 mins before she had to go.  it was so amazing.  to give you a better perspective, this was the girl who i talked about in my last week in Olomouc, she's amazing!

So then i got to stay in my old flat, in Olomouc north, it was cool to be back. so in the morning the 4 of us went to Prague, i lost my scriptures and preach my gospel on the train.  so that'd be great if you guys could buy me a new triple, i already have a bible, just black standard size, i was going to do it myself but it cost more to ship it here than to buy it, so i didn't want to do that.  after that we had our training, a general authority came, that's why we had it in Prague.  it was an awesome training, During it one of the sister missionaries who was a professionally trained musician sang "I stand All Amazed" it was so beautiful, easily the best part of the training by far. Jesus Christ, really did die for us, he really is our Lord and savior, it is wonderful to me.

the rest of my week here in Zlin went well, we had game night on saturday, it was so cool, i played the branch president in Ping Pong, he's so good, it was really fun the branch here is way cool.
the next day yesterday, we had a missionary farewell here it was so good, we had support from a lot of members from Brno, that was really cool, oh and the girl, she's going to London, England on her mission, really awesome!

well that's all for this week, congrats to Trevor and Tiffany

umm sorry for not posting something on my blog last week, well not my fault, i did write an email haha but have a great week!!    (mom note....it's posted now.  It was a crazy week!)

Howdy

hey everyone how are you, it's been quite a crazy week,

so on Tuesday, so well normal Tuesday, but in my English class i was asking everyone what their favorite thing in the Olympics was and everyone of the women were like, ice dancing... are you freaking serious hahaha that is the dumbest sport! oh my at least don't call it a sport and i'll be happy

so then on Wednesday we just had some lessons and stuff

but then on Thursday we had to wake up at 6 to go to Brno (1.5 hour bus ride) and then we had a training, sister McKonkie led it, and it was so good, she just talked about how we need to focus on the importance of church with people because you have all this time in the week and you have to think about all of this stuff all the time and then on Sunday you get to come and just focus your thoughts all on Jesus and it's the best time for inspiration. so then after that we rode back to Olomouc with the Lyons (1 hour car ride) then we had a lesson and then i got on a train (2.5 hours) to Prauge to do visa work

Friday i woke up at 6 with some of the Prague Elders to run with a member there and he is crazy! he's a pro rock climber and he seriously sprinted at full speed for 45 mins!  like i thought he wasn't being serious, i was keeping up with him for like 5 or 6 mins and we probably ran a mile and then i just fell so far behind with the other elders but seriously that guy was nuts.  But the run was sick, it was on this castle wall way high in the middle of Prague and when you'd go around you could see the whole city.  It was awesome. Then we did visa work.  It was really good no one in my group had problems. then i went back to Olomouc (2.5 via train.) and did normal missionary stuff for the rest of the day.

Saturday met with this way interesting investigator he has learned greek and hebrew and english fluently and is currently re-translating the bible.

Then we had church on Sunday and i was so fighting falling asleep in sacrament.  He was talking about missionary work. and mid speech when i was falling asleep almost (trying to look super interested because i''m a missionary and stuff) he, the guy speaking, asks me a question... (in czech) no idea what it was i just was so confused "jo" haha i was right "jo"(yo) means yes and he was asking if it's good to have members there at lessons haha so i was right but i had no idea what i was answering. haha.

Then today, this morning we had to go to the church building and help these construction guys haha czech construction smh. anyway ask me about that maybe, but i have to write my pres and stuff.

Spiritual thought of the week that you should all ponder about:

When you need to decide something, pray about it, it really works. That's not just something that we hear annoying cliche stories about in Sunday school, but it actually works and it's super helpful, so try it.

hey p.s. ok jaynanne, see this, if you read the whole thing, it's quite long but i used this magical button above the right shift that's called "enter" it magically makes it so you can read it with out getting a headache lol. jk but seriously.

also. oskar, i'll let you use my turtle beach's until i get home if you do the book of mormon thing that i told you last week. but if you ruin those, unlike my long board you'll have to buy new ones.

ok, peace off.

Who were the missionaries...

So this is day 76 and so i just had this realization that that means i'm 10 percent done with my mission.

also sorry but there is no apostrophe so if i hit this § key it was supposed to be an apostrophe.

So this week has been good, A lot of travel, we went to Brno which is the second biggest citz in cyech oh my gosh freaking y z are switched!  but yeah so the trip was pretty cool we had a bunch of training and stuffs.

Then we got to finally watch conference this weekend. it was really good. umm a huge thing i got from it was that, 1st of all I don§t mean to sound rude... but yeah imma be rude, the missionaries in our stake and city are just awful. there, i said it. this is why, i don§t even know who they are, yeah not one of them.  and i was a ward missionary! that's freaking pathetic! the members in a ward or branch are the biggest tool that missionaries have! every single lesson we have we are trying to get a member to come to and befriend the people there, before my mission i literately had the calling of being that member and i didn't even know who the missionaries were! Every member should know the missionaries and likewise it should be visa-verso! the more members you know the more people you have to choose from when you need someone to sit in on a lesson! and the saints in Utah are strong in there beliefs. they know how missionary work works, i don't know, i'm just frustrated is all. but seriously they need to step it up that's all i'm saying... but yeah that was kinda rude... oh well it's the truth... just like elder Uchtdorf said, people are ready to put their faith into action, they are ready and they want to! when you are living in a place where the saints don't have to take a train for 45 minutes to teach with you, you should know who they are and they the same.... you should give this to the missionaries, they don't realize how blessed they are. sure they have there own challenges but really they can do it.

so about your emails, they were pretty good, so i was thinking, with the 3,2,1 thing that the stake is doing so as a family, you should do what one of the speakers was talking about, with the "Family missionary pool" thing, yeah that was pretty cool. umm also, mollie you should check your email, and it's also for oskar.  Jumbotron, that's pretty cool. your stake conference seemed interesting, having the guy come around with a mic and choosing people to speak, that's pretty cool! Umm yeah boring crap is really interesting to me.

so this week was pretty good, yeah.

haaha no, i was just going to leave it at that but i have to expand i guess, so czech people are so impressed that i'm trying to learn czech, it's really funny, they're all super nice about it, like all of them, even if they're not interested in the gospel, they are always like, in broken English "Czech is hard huh?"  haha yeah it is.

umm i don't have much to write about, like the week was busy but now it's becoming more routine.  but yeah still fun! so for next week i think i'll make another video and show you my apartment it's interesting, i finally get what uncle Brian was saying about the toilets in Hungary, yeah that's weird.  umm yeah till next week, sorry my whole email was getting mad about the missionaries in ogden they probably do hard work.  oh well now i spent so much time writing it, i'm not deleting it.

TTFN GLHF GGWP
oh also, trevor, you need to speak to every single person you see! I wish i could, you're blessed to be speaking english in your mission so use it to your advantage! you should never let someone walk by you without talking to them, just like it says in preach my gospel, they were put in your path so open your mouth...  ok that all for realz,  Love Yall!
